THE NAME

AMANTIKIR is the indigenous word for Mantiqueira, which is the name of the amazing mountain range where we have our farm in Brazil.

THE LEGEND

AMANTIKIR means "mountain that cries". The legend is about a native indian who feel in love with the Sun, which made her tribe very upset. Their leader then built the biggest mountain range and trapped her inside so she couldn't see the Sun. The native indian cried springs, rivers, and waterfalls, bringing all the abundance to our mountains.
